30 Days of Nonviolence
Fight injustice, not people.
The more we accept a person, the more effectively we can resist their unjust actions. Your ultimate aim should go beyond redressing the grievance at hand to repairing and deepening relationships.
1. Go deeper: Watch “Terrorism and Nonviolence,” our 5-minute animation that looks at a cure for the growing threats of terrorism
2. Practice: 1. Think of a person with whom you have a difficulty, then write down their name. 2. Write down the action that most troubles you, and list at least three positive qualities in that person that you would like to see grow. 3. Reflect on how you can develop those same qualities in yourself; what kinds of support are required?
