Science of Nonviolence with Michael Nagler

In this course, we will look into the contribution of ‘science’ as understood in the modern world to the theory and practice of nonviolence.

In addition, we will study nonviolence itself as a science: a system capable of prediction and control (as it was always understood in India, even prior to Gandhi).

The sessions will include both lecture and discussion components. Topics will range from quantum physics to human nature, and we will cover materials from ancient spiritual texts to current scientific breakthroughs.

We will meet on Zoom for 6 weeks: on Fridays from July 19 - August 23, from 10am - 11:30am California Time.

Course Fee: By donation—$100 for all six weeks.
