April Trainings

Across the country — on campuses, in the streets, in community spaces — people are rising up to demand an end to violence and injustice. It’s a powerful moment. It’s also a tender one.

Many of us are holding complex feelings in the midst of it all: anger at systems of harm, grief for suffering and loss, overwhelm at the scale of injustice, and also the quiet, stubborn hope that a different world is possible.

Nonviolence offers us a path to hold all of those feelings — and to respond not with despair or disconnection, but with courage, compassion, and deep relationship.

This workshop is an introduction to nonviolence and The Third Harmony — a way of seeing and practicing nonviolence that begins within us, extends to how we relate to others, and guides how we act in the world.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • What is nonviolence — beyond protest or avoidance?

  • How do we meet anger, conflict, and harm without replicating violence?

  • How do we stay grounded and connected — even when things feel overwhelming?

  • Where do we look for signs of hope, resilience, and possibility?

This is a space to slow down, reconnect with what matters most, and practice nonviolence not just as an idea, but as a way of being — in ourselves, our relationships, and our movements for change.

Wherever you are on your journey — whether you’re new to nonviolence, showing up in the streets, or seeking ways to sustain your heart in this moment — you are welcome here.
