Monday Meditation & Prayer Gathering

“Wherever people gather for selfless ends, there is a vast augmentation of their individual capacities. Something wonderful, something momentous happens. An irresistible force begins to move, which, though we may not see it, is going to change our world. In this lies the power and the meaning of spiritual companionship.”

– Eknath Easwaran

Join us at the Metta Center’s Petaluma office to amplify peace and nonviolence around the world through meditation and prayer. Silent practice begins promptly at 12 noon, and lasts 1 hour (stay for as long as you need). (If you can not make it to the office, feel free to join us by meditating from where you are.)

Following meditation and prayer at 1 pm is a vegetarian potluck lunch and conversation.

She’s currently developing our board game, Cosmic Peaceforce: Mission Harmony Three. She lives in an ashram (meditation community) in Northern California, (but if she didn’t, she’d be keen on joining the Nonviolent Peaceforce as an unarmed peacekeeper).
