Education is a sacred trust, and nonviolence is essential, life-skills education.
We are committed to supporting learning communities with our resources and mentorship in an effort to build a nonviolent culture.
We are accepting applications from schools and classrooms for the Third Harmony Education Scholarship. Selected applicants will receive:
- the resources of the Third Harmony project: film DVD, book, and board game, with additional resources from the Metta Center including Nonviolence Daily (a thought for the day resource) and the children’s book, Gandhi Searches for Truth: A Practical Biography for Children;
- An in-depth exploration and mentorship of the content offered in these resources with an up to three-session training via Zoom meetings with the Metta Center for Nonviolence. (Or, online courses passes for 30 Days of Nonviolence or Nonviolence for Educators (see learn.mettacenter.org)).

We are committed to offering resources for parents, teachers, and students and will be able to determine how many of each resource we can send you based on the number requested and the age-range of your students.
